  1. INSTALLING INFINI-D™ 2.5 DEMO

  4. This document contains information on how to install the Infini-D™ 2.5 Demo
  5. ------------------------------------------------------------

  7. The first time you run Infini-D, the program will create a Specular Folder within 
  8. the Preferences folder of your System Folder (if a Preferences folder does not exist, 
  9. Infini-D will create one).  When Infini-D is initially uncompacted, the Default 
  10. Surface Library, the Help file and the Filters folder will all be in the Infini-D 2.5 
  11. folder.  You can choose to leave them there, or to move them to the Specular 
  12. Folder.

  14. In addition, the first time you run Infini-D, you will be asked to register your copy.  
  15. Certain virus-detection utilities, such as GateKeeper™ and SAM™, may interfere 
  16. with the registration process.  If you are using such a utility, please disable it or 
  17. place it in "Notify-only" mode until your registration has been recorded 
  18. successfully.
